Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide. Tall, flat, oval plaque on stem and foot; plaque with petal-cut rim, with cut fans on both sides, rim with cut grooves; face with an oval flat frame revealing an encased molded sulphide portrait of a man's head (Emperor Francis I of Germany), facing dexter, wearing a laurel wreath tied at the back of his head; reverse plain; reverse of the oval covered with cross-cut diamonds; on a drawn, tapered, shank with horizontal prismatic cutting; stem with diamond-faceted flattened knop above an octagonal panel-cut, flared stem; square foot, with cut flat sides; base covered with cut strawberry diamonds.Provenance
