Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper Spoon. Opalescent white, translucent pink glass; blown, cased, cameo carved. (a) Tall, ovoid form, pink overlay on white; short, flared neck with carved rounded pink rim, the top polished flat, hole in the center for a stopper and spoon; the shoulders rounded, the sides rounded and tapered to a disk foot; the sides relief-carved with cameo flowers, butterfly, and bamboo in a landscape; the underside of the foot with incised mark in Chinese characters "乾隆年制 Qianlong nianzhi". (b) Domed pink stone button finial, mounted on a black disk; tapered cork shank with long ivory spoon, with thin handle and spatulate oval bowl.
