亮绿玻璃刻花兽耳衔环鼻烟壶
Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper Spoon. Transparent dark green, pink glass; blown, carved, diamond-point engraved. (a) Flattened ovoid form, with short neck, the rim polished flat, with an opening in the top for a stopper and spoon; the shoulders and sides rounded, the faces slightly rounded; carved mask handles on the sides; the faces with diamond-engraved decorations of fantastic rocks, the inscriptions in Chinese characters “Gengzi Qiu (1900 autumn) and the signature Zifei; carved oval foot rim, with relief-carved two-character seal within. (b) Domed, pink button on top, with a tiny green button at the top; mounted on a white disk; tapered cork shank; long ivory spoon, with thin handle and oval spatulate bowl.
