Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; pressed. Double conical shape. (a) Dish is circular, with straight sides widening to rim. Female bust on either side, one resting her head on her hand; shell ornaments at either side covered mold seam; lower part of bowl and circular foot are acid etched on outer surface giving a frosted effect. (b) Cover has a pointed finial with four scallop shells around it, a sloping shoulder with eight 5- pointed stars on inside and acid-etching on exterior and straight sides flaring to rim with matching female portraits and shell ornaments.Provenance
