Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; pressed. Ovoid shape bowl, with male and female portraits, thistles, roses, shamrocks and inscription in a shield: "MARQUIS / E / MARCHIONESS / OF / LORNE / LANDED / AT / HALLEAX. NS / 25TH NOV R 1878"-; straight stem, circular foot with star pattern underneath; two lugs on inside of bowl for lid to rest on; (b) with same portraits and inscription (although inscription is nearly illegible), crown like knob.
