Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown, cut. (a-d) Segmented box of oval cross-section, four parts; strung on a purple cord; (a) the cover, of oval form, with cylindrical projections on the sides, drilled longitudinally; slightly convex top with cut star; sides with three cut panels of diamond faceting alternating with two panels of vertical grooves; oval projecting lip on the bottom; (b) and (c) similar form and decoration, but open at the top, with basal oval projection, with cut star underneath; (d) similar form and decoration, open on top; the bottom slightly convex, with cut star; strung together on a purple cord; tied in a bow at the bottom; (e) short, cylindrical tube, containing blue and white stripes; polished at either end; (f) oval convex form, with two rounded cutouts on the sides; pierced by a silver pin, with two chrysanthemum disks, and a loose silver ring; attached to the end of the purple cord.
