Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Ovoid form, with thick base; rounded sides; polished rim; engraved bacchic figure, astride a barrel, holding a staff with intertwined grape vines, and a wide-bowled goblet; engraved on the reverse "Zur gutigen Erinnerung."; cut incised band, above a band of fine cross-hatch diamonds, and oval concave facets at the tops of cut convex ribs, which meet at a concave star on the bottom.Provenance
