Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, encased enameled foil. Tall, ovoid shape with four compartments, with four openings in the flat top; neck a cut octagon, with a square rim with cut corners; body ovoid, with cut steps below the neck, a band of cut convex ovals, each enclosing enameled gold foil flowers (three star-shaped white flowers -- edelweiss? -- on green stems with green leaves; an orange with an orange blossom, buds, green leaves and stem; purple violets and leaves tied with a ribbon; and a large pink rose with four buds, green leaves and stem), alternating with cut stepped oval panels with finely crosshatched oval panels at their centers; above a band of cut nailhead diamonds, and prismatic cutting at the base; faceted polygonal knop above a spreading panel-cut stem merging into a circular, step-cut foot; cut star on the underside.Provenance
