Physical DescriptionColorless, pink, white, polychrome lead glass; paperweight, lampworked, overlay, engraved, cut. Domed, circular form, encasing a double overlay of pink over white, the pink partly removed, and both layers cut and engraved through, a circular window on top, with sets of three oval cuts on four sides; four oval panels on the sides, two with cut oval windows rimmed in white, and two white panels with engraved silhouettes of animals, one a galloping horse, the other a standing hunting dog; a square pink panel at the base with sets of three cut ovals at the corners; enclosing an upright floral bouquet, with a large red flower on top, blue and white and two millefiori flowers at the side, amid numerous green leaves; polished flat base, inscribed "258" in yellow paint.
