Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass, white sulphide; encased, cut, molded sulphide. Seven-sided, flat-faced column with notched edges; enclosing a molded three-dimensional sulphide figure of Mary holding the infant Jesus in her arms; with a panel- and diamond- faceted acorn finial on a waisted, panel-cut stem, with cut circular pad; seven-sided flat pads at the top and bottom of the column; mounted on a flat disk, a diamond-faceted ball knop, and a diamond-faceted disk knop; panel-cut, stepped foot, with cut radial grooves underneath; polished pontil mark.Provenance
