Physical DescriptionTransparent turquoise non-lead glass cased in colorless covered with opaque crushed turquoise surface and applications; blown, tooled, acid-etched interior. Tri-handled amphora; classically inspired vase with surface covering of crushed opaque turquoise decorated with opaque turquoise applications and wraps; narrow straight-sided neck with lip wrap swells to a sloping shoulder and bulbous body gradually tapering to straight-sided rimless base; three evenly spaced pulled handles extend from upper neck to shoulder; neck is decorated with three bosses placed between handles and also with a wrap at the shoulder juncture; shoulder decorated with six bosses and a wrap where shoulder merges into body; body has two wraps with double-pull feathering and knops at the top of each upward pull of lower wrap; solid bottom is ground and polished flat; interior is acid-etched.
