Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, carved, engraved. Large, straight-sided bowl with rounded base; rim cut in a taper on the inside; sides with an engraved vignette of two men clasping their right hands, holding glasses in a toast in their left hands; a table with handled jug in the background; inscribed above the men, "deine meine und noch eine"; two grape vines forming a bower at the sides and overhead; base of the bowl decorated with large carved concave and convex rounded panels; stem with disk merese at the top, with carved stylized foliate rim, above a hollow inverted baluster, with three relief-carved acanthus leaves on the sides, and a basal knop with carved stylized foliate rim; large circular foot with carved radial concave panels; carved eight-pointed star underneath the foot.Provenance
