Physical DescriptionAmphora. Transparent pale purple, transparent pale green glasses; blown body, trailed, handles applied. Cylindrical body, tapering towards rounded bottom; rim out turned, folded upward and inward to form rounded, locally tubular lip; neck splays at bottom; sloping shoulder with slight overhang; base slightly concave; no pontil mark. Immediately below rim, trail, circular in section, wound once around circumference; broad folded strap handles attached to shoulder and upper part of neck, drawn upwards over trail and rim, then pushed inwards until top of fold touches trail.
