Physical DescriptionColorless and yellow non-lead glasses, brown wood, dark metal; (glass) lampworked, (wood) turned, painted, (metal) hand-worked. Egg-shaped hollow glass form with smaller ovoid section at top, ending in a small metal cap and loop, from which a wire hangs. Within the large hollow form is a curly cross made out of one piece of twisted hollow glass tubing of colorless glass, which ends in an hourglass form of yellow glass, hollow spherical section below that has a short tube leading down at an angle which also ends in a cap and loop. The bottom of the main section is a short cylindrical tube ending in a point. The entire glass structure is inserted in a circular wooded stem and base, painted black on the top and unpainted on the base.Provenance
