Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved. Large, tapered, straight-sided bowl with rounded base; engraved decoration of a three-part coat of arms, one oval panel depicting Mary and Christ, another a crowned, two tailed lion rampant, and the third quartered with men holding fish, alternating with shields of bends sinister with three arrows, crowned with an Episcopal miter and staff; flanked with crossed grape vine sprays; on the reverse a doe and stag standing in the landscape, with the sun above, and trees on either side, one with two peacocks in the branches; tall stem composed of a merese, a capstan, flattened ball knop, double merese, capstan, hollow ball with nipt ribbing, double merese, capstan, flattened ball, merese, and capstan; circular foot with folded rim; rough pontil mark.
