Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with aqua and amber striation, black, red, gold paint; blown with hot applications, flameworked figure, painted. Cylindrical shape; straight-sided cylinder, tapers slightly at opening; upper one-fourth colored aqua with brown-amber markings, body of vessel has section of loose brownish brush-work and a vertical band extending from opening to an applied doll-like figure painted gold; wrapping around base is a large blown horned slug painted matte black with shining stylized scales; applied colorless facet ring; base of interior painted bright red; concave base, rough pontil; unsigned.
