Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white, translucent olive green, translucent violet glasses; red and yellow enamel; blown; colorless gather decorated with streaks of white and violet, inflated and cased with colorless; colorless overlaid with violet and green; acid-etched; enameled; rim and perhaps base ground and polished. Liqueur glass: rim plain, ground flat; wall descends in shallow convex curve with greatest diameter above mid-point; base flat. Decoration in low relief against matte, acid-etched background which appears grayish white with streaks of white and violet seen through colorless overlay: leaves and four stems of violet; clockwise, stems support open flower with spot of yellow and red at center, open flower seen from side, green bud, and partly open flower. Mark in relief on wall, near bottom: monogram consisting of Cross of Lorraine with vertical line forming parts of initial letters of "DAUM" and "NANCY", one above other and with stem of "Y" prolonged to touch bottom of cross; to right of monogram, "FRANCE".
