Physical DescriptionColorless, opaque white, translucent deep blue, translucent olive green, translucent violet glasses; red and yellow enamel; mold-blown, cut, enameled. Mold-blown, colorless gather decorated with streaks and patches of white and blue, inflated and cased with colorless; colorless overlaid with violet and green; blowing completed in mold; acid-etched; enameled; rim and base ground and polished. Card holder with plain rim, edge beveled and top ground flat; vertical wall, which curves in at bottom; base flat with oval ground and polished depression at center; decoration in low relief against matte, acid-etched background which appears grayish-white with streaks and patches of white and blue seen through colorless overlay: leaves, stems and flowers of violet; clockwise, long side has three stems with open flowers, one seen from front with spots of yellow and red at center, others seen from side; short side has one stem with flower seen from side; long side has two stems with flowers seen from front with touches of red and yellow enamel and from side; short side has one stem with bud; mark in relief on wall of first long side: monogram consisting of Cross of Lorraine with vertical line forming parts of initial letters of "DAUM" and "NANCY", one above other with stem of "Y" prolonged to touch bottom of cross.Provenance
