Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; mold-blown in two molds, foot and body assembled with hot bit, diamond sawn, polished. Thin-walled vessel with body in flattened conical shape tapering to a sharp base, flattened walls extended on one edge in two scalloped tiers extending down side of bowl in imitation of a woman's flowing skirt (upside down); narrow base of bowl attached hot to a thick patty that is, in turn, joined cold to avoid, hollow, domed foot and set asymmetrically at highest point of foot; lip and base edges are sawn, ground and polished; no pontil; unsigned.Provenance
