Physical DescriptionTransparent purple with opaque deep purple, cased with colorless and opaque deep purple, cased with transparent bottle green glasses; blown (two gathers), applied, cased, base ground and polished. Vessel: slender flute. Rim plain, rounded; wall tapers slightly, and twists; base consists of shallow hollow cone; pontil mark removed by grinding and polishing. Bowl transparent purple, with two elongated opaque purple patches, one opposite and slightly above the other, all cased with colorless; base colorless, with purple spiral extending from junction with bowl to edge, cased on underside with green. Scratched or acid-stamped signature on underside of base, near edge: "KOSTA BODA Gunnel Sahlin 1990" (artist's name cursive).
