Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, opaque light blue and yellow enamel; machine-blown into a mold, silk-screened decoration. Straight-sided tumbler with walls tapering in slightly towards base, folded-over (?) fire-polished rim; one-half of walls decorated with blue stylized rendering of a low sectioned building with two tall narrow towers (flying flags) flanking entry, a train and a boat are in front of building, three small airplanes fly in sky between towers, four "searchlights" flare from building, at upper left of towers in printed in block letters: "TRANSPORTATION"; yellow serif capital letters encircle the base: "NEW*YORK*WORLD'S*FAIR*1939"; flat, slightly thickened flat base, mold marks, no pontil; screened at lower right of building: "copyright sign (c within a circle) N Y W F".
