Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, opaque light green and red enamel; machine-blown into a mold, silk-screened decoration. Straight-sided tumbler with walls tapering in slightly towards base, folded-over (?) fire-polished rim; wrapping 2/3 around walls is green stylized and foreshortened rendering of an assymetrical building with central three-tiered faceted tower; on either side of top tier printed in green block letters: "COSMETICS BUILDING"; red elongated capital letters encircle the base: "NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR*1939"; flat, slightly thickened flat base, mold marks, no pontil; unsigned.Provenance
