Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent amber, translucent blue 4% lead glasses, metallic gold, iridization; blown, cut, polished, hot-worked. Goblet with deep conical bowl, slightly flared ground and polished lipless rim; bowl is amber with blue mottling on upper half, overall golden iridization that becomes more dense towards tapered end of bowl, lower half of bowl has rough surface texture, no iridization on interior; top of thick intricately intertwined hot-worked stem with opaque gold iridization has been pulled up on to goblet in three uneven points, wedged at an angle into top of stem is a colorless triangular prism with facet-cutting and slight iridization; stem tapers to colorless conical foot with folded rim; no pontil; overall tool marks and scattered bubbles; signature facsimile inscribed on top of base: "H (illegible/ 1994"; round paper label on foot has gold background and black block type: "HAND MADE IN AUSTRALIA/HEANEY GLASS".Provenance
