Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, metal; glass: pressed, mold-blown, metal parts cast. (a) Cylindrical font, mold-blown of colorless glass with "VAPO" "CRESOLENE" on the shoulder and "USE" "KEROSENE" on the body. Circular base has a waffled pattern and "MADE IN U.S.A." around a "2", a "6" and a trademark of "O" and "I" in a diamond. (b) Brass screw-type kerosene burner with a cord-like wick "V.C.CO" and 5 stars on wick raiser. (c) Cylindrical glass chimeny, slightly smaller at lower end, bottom rim fire-polished, top rim cut and ground. (d) Cast-metal stand having a lower beaded ring to hold the lamp font and an upper tin pan, both connected by a cast metal scrolling handle, pan stamped upside down "PATENTED/AUG. 4 85 No. 8, 88". (e) White metal shallow dish.
