Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; mold-blown. Cylindrical body with rounded shoulders and long neck with everted rim, ground on inside to fit stopper. Blown in a full-size mold for pattern and shape, with 3 vertical mold seams running from neck to base. Pattern consists of vertical ribs on neck, swirled vertical ribs on shoulder, a sunburst and diamond pattern on body with the word "WINE" on one side, vertical panels near bottom, plain base with rough pontil mark. Spherical stopper is also mold-blown with molded sunburst on top and swirled ribs around sides, hollow shank ground to fit neck.
