Physical DescriptionTransparent yellowish green. Mold-blown (body blown in dip mold); trails and handle applied. Pitcher with roughly hemispherical body. Funnel mouth, somewhat lopsided, with rounded lip; neck cylindrical, wider at bottom than at top; shoulder slopes, with rounded edge; wall descends almost vertically, but with convex profile, then curves in at bottom; base plain, slightly concave; irregular pontil mark. Shoulder and wall have overall pattern of faint ribs, which spiral down from left to right. Outside of mouth has one continuous horizontal trail immediately below lip; lower neck also has one continuous horizontal trail. Strap handle with shallow ribs dropped onto edge of shoulder, drawn up to level of lip, then folded in and attached to underside of mouth, with excess glass drawn up and onto lip.Provenance
