Interpretive Notes
It is possible, but unlikely, that this frame was made in the 1920s. Central was closed from 1930 until 1933 and then open from 1933 until 1939 when it closed for good. Until the 1930's, tableware was their prime output. After reopening in the 1930's, the product mix was changed somewhat and this frame is probably one result
Physical DescriptionFrame with Engraved Flowers. Colorless non-lead glass; metal screws, black cardboard; cast, cut. Rectangular flat glass with bevelled edge and cut lines and stylized flowers on undersurface, mirror backing covered with cardboard; cardboard easel-like stand; four brass screws attaching back to glass; four brass clasps to fasten cardboard backing in place.
