(a) Multicolored glass, brown canvas, wood, metal, cardboard, paper, thread; printed, sewn, assembled. 578 glass samples of varying color and transparency sewn onto eleven cardboard sheets with printed inscriptions. Cardboard sheets bound together in brown portfolio with wood spine in metal mount. Inner edges of cardboard sheets reinforced with metal strips. Cover of portfolio inscribed in gold, "JOS.RIEDEL / GLASFABRIKEN / POLAUN / POST UNTER-POLAUN". Portfolio spine inscribed in gold, "JOS.RIEDEL / GLASFABRIKEN / POLAUN / POST UNTER-POLAUN / GES.GESCH. / 68614".
