Physical DescriptionClear glass with opaque white and blue overlay; pressed, cut and acid-etched. (a) Flanged and domed foot, stem consisting of a concave part, truncated inverted baluster, a disk and a stemmed double disk which supports the funnel bowl; (b) the set-in cover with thick flange is doubly domed, with a "waisted" middle part, and a ball knob ending in an obelisk; the white and blue overlay is cut in a geometric overall pattern: half moons, panels, flutes, rings, disks, stars, etc.; stem and finial hexagonal through cutting; on the bowl an acid-etched blue and white panel with a blue frame, showing a young woman with a book, sitting on a wall and looking down, in the background trees and bushes.
