Physical DescriptionColorless, white, pink, blue, green, yellow non-lead glasses; lampworked, painted. Figure of a woman, wearing a large white dress, with painted black hair and collar, yellow ribbon bow at her waist, and scattered pink "flower" dots; black hem, yellow shoes; seated in a pink and white chair formed of filigree rods; the chair back curved, with undulating horizontal bar; the seat formed of two horizontal bars; the legs splayed; the spinning wheel in front of the woman, the wheel free to revolve, with four blue-striped spikes and pink and white filigree shaft, attached to the foot treadle; the wheel mounted between two posts with multiple disk knops; horizontal disk-knopped bar across the top with arched green-and-yellow filigree loop, with black balls at either end, a vertical white bar with two black "ears" at the center; the mounted on two short disk-knopped arms, and free to turn in loops in the ends of the arms, formed as a red-and-white filigree bar with two curved blue-striped arms with applied white "teeth" along one edge; an arm extends to the side, with a tiny tube mounted vertically at the end, with a loose disk-knopped bar fitted into the tube, topped with a blue- striped pointed finial; a horizontal disk-knopped arm at the side, with another mounted vertically at the end, topped with white trailed distaff; a loose pink chain with black hook end mounted in front of the woman; the spinning wheel on tripod base; the chain and spinning wheel mounted on a rectangular rod base with medial bar.
