Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved; copper-gilt mounts. Long, tapered neck with pincered pouring spout; rounded shoulders above tapered body; engraved zig-zag border, band of stylized foliage; zig-zag and band of foliage; paneled below, two containing stylized three-towered buildings, the others with grape vines, leaves, and foliate wreaths; floral spray below the handle; foliate border below; applied strap handle, crimped at the lower terminal; trailed foot ring with copper-gilt rim, decorated with scallops on the upper edge; base with slight kick and rough pontil mark; copper-gilt pointed ovoid cover with ball finial thumb latch, hinged to an engraved foliate attachment at the top of the handle.
