Physical DescriptionOpalescent white non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. (a) Shallow, circular shape, with upcurved sides; the inside enameled in dark blue in a pattern of stylized flowers, outlined in black; the flowers arranged in three groups of four, with curvilinear panels between each group, a half flower within each panel, and with small gilt flowers and blue foliage pendant; a stylized blue floral spray at the center; all within a circular frame outlined by two thin lines; trailed rounded foot rim; rough pontil mark, with tiny purple and blue spatters; remains of a paper label. (b) Circular shape, with rounded sides and flared rim; blue enameled and gilt floral band, matching that on (a), on the sides; trailed foot ring; rough pontil mark; small fragment of a paper label.Provenance
