Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, gilt and painted decoration. Tapered, cylindrical shape, of double-wall construction; outer case with cut vertical panels (23 panels); sepia and white painted continuous scene of a stag hunt around the sides, gold on the interior, with a band of silver-foil acanthus leaves near the base, between gold-foil rings; inset, flat base enclosing a gold-foil representation of a stag and two dogs in front of tree trunks, one inscribed "J. POHL" in reverse; transparent red background; inscribed (scratched) "14" on the base.Provenance
