Physical DescriptionJar. Transparent bluish green; many bubbles, largest of which is 1.5 cm long. Blown in dip mold. Jar: cylindrical. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck short and cylindrical; shoulder very narrow and sloping; wall vertical, curving in at bottom; base flat; pontil mark irregular (W. about 1.4 cm). Decorated on wall and underside of base. On wall, extending from top to bottom: continuous row of 27 oval indentations (H. 1 cm, W. 0.4 cm) above continuous row of 10 circular bosses, each surrounded by depressed circle (D. 1.4 cm), which is incomplete at bottom; between upper and lower rows of decoration, 10 small circular indentations, one between tops of each pair of circles. On base, three concentric raised circles (D. 1.6, 2.4, and 4 cm); between innermost and central circles, indistinct depressions; between central and outermost circles, indistinct but perhaps circular depressions; between outermost circle and edge of base, more indistinct but perhaps circular depressions.
