Physical DescriptionBottle. Transparent very pale purple; many bubbles, largest of which is 1.3 cm long. Blown in dip mold. Bottle: cylindrical. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck cylindrical and slightly narrower at bottom than at top; shoulder slopes, with rounded edge; wall vertical, curving in at bottom; base flat; pontil mark roughly circular (D. about 1.4 cm). Decorated on wall and underside of base. On wall, extending from top to bottom: continuous row of 20 oval indentations (H. 1.8 cm, W. 0.4 cm) above continuous row of 10 circular bosses, each surrounded by depressed circle (D. 1.4 cm), which is incomplete at bottom; between upper and lower rows of decoration, 10 small circular indentations, one between tops of each pair of circles. On base, three concentric raised circles (D. 2.5, 3.8, and 4.6 cm); between innermost and central circles, indistinct depressions; areas between central and outermost circle, and outermost circle and edge of base, are plain.
