Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; flat glass, cut, reverse-painted, assembled. Flat, cross-shaped object; four sheets of flat glass mounted on a conforming wood backing; the upper cross-shaped part reverse-painted with a figure of the crucified Christ, wearing a white loin cloth, halo, crown of thorns; white "paper" above his head, inscribed "IN/RI." with a red cock crowing above; on the arms of the cross, and below the figure, implements of the Passion; black background, the tips of the arms and top of the cross painted yellow-green; rectangular plinth with the top corners clipped, reverse-painted decoration of Mary, kneeling in prayer, wearing a black cloak, dark red- brown dress, with white collar, a spear at her side; rectangular wood base with slanting edges; brass hanger screwed onto the back, at the top of the cross.
