Physical DescriptionGoblet (Possibly Composite). (Bowl and flange) Almost colorless, but with yellowish tinge and few stones; opaque turquoise blue, opaque purple, and translucent blue, and; (stem and foot) transparent pale green. Blown; applied and perhaps assembled. Goblet with trumpet-shaped bowl. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.1 cm) tapers with concave profile to narrow bottom of bowl, where; flange (D. 4.6 cm) projects out and down; stem is solid at top, but hollow at bottom, and appears to pass through foot, terminating in fire-polished protrusion; foot itself consists of shallow, rather uneven, cone-shaped flange (D. 3.9 cm). Applied decoration on bowl and flange. On bowl: register bordered at top by very thin turquoise trail wound one and three-quarters times around circumference and at bottom by very thin turquoise trail wound once; register contains two turquoise motifs, each shaped like figure 2, alternating with two similar purple motifs. Two opposed miniature handles dropped onto lower wall and reattached on lower border; one handle supports turquoise ring, while other supports blue ring. On edge of flange: turquoise wrap.
