Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. (a) flared gilt rim, ground on top surface; cylindrical neck, ground and polished for stopper, flared to rounded shoulders, tapered to rounded base; trumpet-shape foot with trailed rigaree band at top; ruffled, gilt foot rim; (b) hollow, inverted pear shape; top with polished pontil mark and gilt; six-petaled flower; tapered to spirally twisted stem; tapered, ground shank with rounded end; all pieces depict enameled crossed pennants above a gilt crest of a crown and elephant's head; a gilt ribbon bearing the motto "PARSIT FORTUNA LABORI" below.Provenance
