Physical DescriptionOpaque, nearly black royal blue glass matrix, bubbly, pitted with slightly weathered surface, trails of opaque white and opaque yellow glass; core-formed and trail decorated. Fragment preserves approximately half of the lower section of a palm column flask both in height and circumference; the surface is decorated with thirteen alternating yellow and white trails which have been alternately dragged up and down to form a festooned or feathered pattern, the base has been decorated with a white trail wrapped several times at the bottom; the section allows the view of the interior core with some dark brown core material adhering to the surface, over this is a deposit of kohl and some fibrous material.Provenance
