Physical DescriptionTransparent pale green glass with minute bubbles; slight wear marks; free-blown, gilded and enameled. Bulbous almost spherical body tapering to small slightly concave base, concave neck with wide flaring rim; three gilded loop handles applied around middle of body; overall pattern imitating enamel decoration of Islamic glass of the 14th century: six friezes of red and golden arabesques around bottom and shoulder of body and around neck, "cufic" inscription in blue with multicolored ornaments around middle of body, few multicolored medallions below inscription and around neck; at base: "Brocard".
