Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, cork, plated metal, borosilicate (Pyrex®); mold blown by machine; screen printed; a) globular body with cylindrical neck; top of neck bent out to form rim, rim machine finished with a spout pinched down; long neck with metal band around it, band extends from top to bottom of neck, band cut to fit around base of spout; pot's handle attached to neck by metal band and two bolts, bottom of handle touches body of pot but is not attached, handle hollow; body of pot rounded in at top, body tapers out and is widest near bottom, four star designs on body, each design has a five pointed star overlapping an outline of a cloud with three eight pointed asterisks to cloud's left, "PYREX / BRAND / GLASSWARE / MADE IN U.S.A / FOR / WEICO" also printed onto body, words are within a circle; base of pot slightly concave; b) stopper roughly cylindrical in shape; flat top; body tapers in; flat base.Provenance
