Physical DescriptionColorless, with deep purple translucent handles.; blown, decoration and handles applied. Jar: egg-shaped, with two opposed handles. Rim outsplayed, with rounded lip; neck cylindrical, wider at bottom than at top; shoulder slopes; wall curves down, out, and in; stem very short; foot disk-shaped, with rounded edge made by folding and shallow kick; no pontil mark. Colorless glass has many very small bubbles. Very thin colorless trail wound once around mid-point of neck. Handles dropped onto outside of lip, looped up, over, and down, then drawn out and down, bent, and drawn down and in, and attached to upper shoulder, in one case with excess glass drawn up in "rat-tail".Provenance
