Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, acid-etched. Amphora shape; flaring, cup-shaped rim, with trailed ring below the rim; waisted neck, rounded shoulder, tapered sides; two applied downward-curving handles with etched elephants' heads on the sides, lower ends curled, as if elephants' trunks; engraved geometric bands around the rim and neck; etched carp on the side with flaring fins amidst swirling water; on the reverse, an etched dragon; base with polished rim and polished, concave center.
