Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass with various translucent and transparent glass, and other variously colored materials; cut, leaded, etched, painted, engraved and laminated. Abstract "cubist" vertical female figure; "head/neck", stylized triangular head of opaque striated beige/blue-black flat with an irregular centered applied almond-shaped eye with centered iridescent faceted crystal pupil, head is topped by radiating brass cane hair overlapping a circular painted "halo" extension of the wooden backing, lowest point of head triangle abuts a large purple faceted circle flanked by cut irregular pieces of creamy tan opaque covered with pale yellow transparent raised dots and two applied small cut fragments of blue-black opaque which fit on both sides of the triangle/faceted circle juncture, lower half of circle is partially enclosed by an irregular horizontal rectangle of mirror with a bronze colored leaf pattern and bordered with copper cane; "torso", golden brocade fabric in a tree pattern is laminated between flat colorless and backing, two "breasts" of cut translucent gray-blue have applied open-ended narrow metal horseshoes, breasts flank a central column formed of two parallel lengths of brass cane that bisects the body from the neck and extends past the feet, column is covered with an abraded line and circle pattern and on two sections the seam is covered by applied half brass beads; "waist", area is defined by a protruding metal bow applied to the central column which is flanked by two pairs of stacked, flattened diamonds of beveled colorless over half brocade and half abstract bronze and gold painting; "legs", lamination of same colorless over brocade as torso and bisected by an angled length of painted cane with applied rhinestones and striated ovoid beads, higher end of cane has an attached free-hanging tassel of brass and copper link; "feet",...
