and polished. Bottle: globular. Rim has flat top and narrow chamfer on outside; neck is short and slightly wider at top than at bottom; shoulder slopes, with convex profile; base is plain; pontil mark removed by grinding. Neck and wall have facet-cut decoration: on neck, upper three-quarters cut in eight contiguous vertical, rectangular facets, in six cases with narrow kite-shaped facet between each pair of rectangles; on shoulder, one shallow vertical step; on wall, three continuous horizontal rows of hollow facets arranged in quincunx; top row has 14 oval facets and one partial facet filling unplanned gap between two complete facets, middle row has 15 oval facets, and bottom row has 15 roughly oval facets, which are wider at top than bottom and frequently have straight bottoms; at junction of wall and base, one very shallow vertical step. Neck and body have thick sides (0.6 cm) at rim.
