Physical DescriptionShagreen Case. Oval shape, the straight sides, top and bottom covered with green shagreen; hinged, domed top; decorative gilt metal pins inserted to form a decorative geometric pattern on the top, and arranged in straight bands at the rim; gilt metal push on the front, to open the steel latch; lined with red velvet.
