Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead, borosilicate (Pyrex®) glass, silver decoration, black handle, white metal, brown and red bag, brown, black and tan cardboard; mold-blown by machine; a) squat bulbous shape; stainless steel cover with missing knob, cover domed with flared up edge and flat rim; pot has machine finished rim, rim tapers in to neck; neck cylindrical and short with stainless steel band around it; black plastic handle opposite spout; handle attached to band around neck by screw, handle wide where joined to pot and then tapers in to narrow end, handle roughly triangular shape with no base, metal hinge piece on top of handle near neck, PYREX trade mark molded into right side of handle near neck; pot body rounded out then in with widest point one third the distance from bottom of neck to base; spout joined to upper part of pot at about 45 degree angle, spout has pinched lip, lower part of pot decorated with five platinum bands that diminish in size from top to bottom; flat circular base; b) plain cylindrical tube with machine finished rims; c) circular strainer with metal insert piece (fits into glass tube to form pot's brewer); insert is a metal strip with both ends attached to top of strainer, sides taper up and in, then flare out and back in to rounded top, PYREX trade mark stamped into insert top; strainer top flat with perforated holes that radiate out from center; edge is pressed down and flat; edge has four equally spaced tabs that are bent down to form strainer's feet; d) heat spreader grid; single metal rod bent into square form with sides bent in to form star shape with four rounded points; ends of rod soldered together; spreader in original square paper bag; bag opens at top, back of bag has rounded top, front of bag has squared off top; ...
