Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; tooled. Sculpture of a Japanese goldfish with long, trailing fins. Body and tail-fin are tooled from the same gather of glass. Side and back fins are flat, elongated applications. The back fin curves backward and to the right. Two large globes indicate the bulging eyes, with tooled concentric circles indicating the pupils. The fish was probably intended to be placed in an upright position, standing on the second side and the back fin.Provenance
