Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown into a mold, rim ground and polished. Tall narrow vase, rim ground and polished flat; irregular, roughly cylindrical shape, waisted and tapering towards base; exterior deeply textured with irregular charred wood pattern; slightly concave base, ground and polished base rim, no pontil; inscribed in block letters on base: "TAPIO WIRKKALA-3429"; small red and white acetate label with Iittala logo near rim.
