Physical DescriptionTranslucent green (Green Jade), translucent milky white lead glasses; bowl: blown, hot-worked, assembled while hot, ground, polished; flower block: molded, ground, polished. (a) Low, almost rectangular (with rounded corners) Green Jade bowl with slightly concave central base area surrounded by faint dimpling, each short end of bowl has an upright loop handle (with raised center rib) of Alabaster, applied domed base of Alabaster with ground and polished base rim; ground and polished pontil; (b) molded Green Jade flower block with hollow core, flaring from core are two horizontal tiers of solid slightly scalloped circular sections, each with eight holes around exterior, top tier is slightly domed and has a central necked opening with ground and polished rim, hole opens into hollow core of block, low thick fluted base ground and polished flat; (a) acid-stamped fleur-de-lis Steuben trademark on polished pontil; (b) unsigned.Provenance
